These have got to be the worst apartments I have ever lived in. I have had problems since the first day I moved in. After signing a 12 month lease a month before the actual move in date, our apartment wasn't even ready the day we moved in. The kitchen counter tops had not been changed to the color we asked for, and our keys didn't even work. The apartment was VACANT for the whole month after we signed the lease, there really was no logical reason why these things would not be ready. After complaining to the management, their answer was that "they hire contractors to do the kitchen counter tops, and I guess they just didnt come". My response was, "isn't it your job to make sure that they come and that the job gets done' Aside from that, it took almost until 5:00 PM til they finally fixed our keys situation and got them to work.
After moving in, we found that there was A LOT of mold in our storage room out in our patio. You couldn't even stand in the patio with the storage room door CLOSED because it smelled so horrible. It took them WEEKS to come fix this problem, after we badgered them so much. They told us it was taking so long because they had a lot of people moving in and they had to get their apartments ready....umm...hello''' MY APARTMENT WASN'T READY WHEN I MOVED IN!!!
Now for the gates. THEY NEVER WORK RIGHT! Oh wait, before I forget, in order to get a gate remote...you have to pay 65 dollars or something like that, quite ridiculous. But anyways, aside from that...the gates never worked. I couldn't even count the amount of times that there has been a line of cars out of the complex onto USAA blvd in the middle of the night, because the main gate was stuck (after pushing in the correct code). The line of cars would have to wait for someone who had a remote control to come open a different gate. Absolutely ridiculous.
FINALLY...to top it all off, the office staff is rude, and really doesn't care about you. Additionally, the apartments are old, and they leak from the ceilings, and they are completely over priced. And they are raising my rent by 70 dollars a month...and let me tell you, I sure as hell am not staying here. I could live in a bigger luxury apartment for the same price, and that is what I am doing.

Sorry you had to deal with this...I moved out in February, left the apartment spotless and damage free and still have not received my deposit. I called them 5 times and each time they claim I'm not getting a deposit for a different reason. Finally after hounding them to get me something in writing and sending them 40 pictures as proof that my apartment was in perfect condition when I left, they are not claiming that I left excessive, heavy trash in the apartment!!!! Arg! I'm so angry! I'm starting a petition against the leasing manager and will file a formal complaint with the better business bureau...are your ailments caused my Michelle by any chance??? email me, I could use your help...and I'd definitely give you mine! lilacorchyyd@yahoo.com
