I recently found out that my husband was being stationed in San Antonio and began to search online from the East coast for an apartment. I communicated with PJ Gibson back and forth until the day of my move. She had an apartment in mind for me, however when I arrived I didn't like the apartments location on the grounds and preferred another. There was one such apartment which apparently wasn't supposed to be move-in ready until the following week. I explained that I could not afford a hotel for that long and they bent over backwards for me and got that apartment ready by the end of the day. Upon reaching Iron Horse Valley I realized that it was the same apartment complex that I lived in 10 years ago when I was stationed at Fort Sam. Its still beautiful and the office staff is WONDERFUL!!!! I love my apartment, the parking is more than adequate and its very quiet. Now I understand that people may have their negative experiences but no apartment complex is exempt from issues. It's an aprtment complex where many families with various habits, lifestyles, and backgrounds live and that plays a big part in the overall living condition thereof. If your neighbor leaves food out at night and leavess dishes in the sink which brings roaches, how is that managements fault' If your neighbor walks her dog and doesn't pick up the poop "which she should" how is that managements fault' How is it management's fault that the water heater is in the linen closet' They didn't build the complex...and didn't you see that before you signed the lease''' You still had an option. For those considering moving to Iron Horse Valley, take the negativity with a grain of salt. I almost made the error of believing these reviews and frankly, I'm glad I checked for myself. Some people just want to complain!!!! Hats off to the Iron Horse Valley office staff....you're great.
