Iron Horse looks good online and has several different floor plans. I know several people that have lived in this apartment complex. Each different family had issues of some sort. The carpets have mysterious black spots that appear just days after they were cleaned. The maintenance staff simply paints over water damage spots and does not bother to hire professionals to come in clean the mold. Water leaks are a very common issue here. So if at all possible, rent an apartment on the top floor of whatever unit you move into if you don't want your things ruined and mold. If you get bugs, roaches or fruit flies, they won't spray for them. (I am an obssessive compulsive cleaner, so being a scumbag and getting these things was not the issue.) Maintenance is terrible about fixing things. The fire alarm in our building was broken for several days and it took them at least a week to fix the stupid thing so it would stop beeping. The office staff and maintenance staff are all under qualified for their jobs. The office staff is especially incompetent. Don't expect to get a straight answer or your problems fixed. The complex has been through 3 managers in less than a year. Be sure you look at the apartment they are trying to rent you before moving in. We have had different apartments here and were not able to look at them before moving in. Each place has had several issues. The "show apartment" you look at is nice and pristine because no one has ever lived in it!!!!!! Bottom line: All of these buildings need serious paint jobs and remodeling done on the inside. New carpets, dry wall, plumbing, pipes... you name it, they need to do it. They need to hire professionals, not the maintainence staff who doesn't speak English at all and who are not certified!
