Things are getting better here

We've lived here for almost 2 years. We have lived in the back and in the front - two seperate addresses.
This past summer my electric bill was over $300 in July and August, despite numerous requests to help with weather stripping and cleaning the air conditioner. All I got was a filter change and a nasty smell when the maintenance guy sprayed some chemicals on the unit to 'clean it'.
Apparently the walls are very thin. We can hear constant screaming and/or stomping from the upstairs neighbors. Management has finally (YEAH!!) gotten her to acknowledge that she needs to do something about her obnoxious children. Thanks gals!!
On the plus side, the floorplan in my now downstairs apartment is wonderful.We have tons of windows something not usual in most apartments around here.
The girls in the office are very nice. They have good intentions. They have done alot for us.
I don't think that some of the problems here could ever be fixed. They have recently hired new maintainance though- he actually fixes things! It's wonderful and refreshing.
If you are looking for a good floor plan and decent rent then you'll be happy here. The rent has just recently gone up, so it's kind of expensive...but, you get what you pay for. If you go any less expensive in this area, you are in section 8 and deteriorating properties.
