Kenton Apartments are great for the price and location!!! It's one of the best apartments in the Northeast area. These apartments are managed by very nice, friendly, and professional ladies. They address any issue promptly and nicely. The management is top notch, and always willing to help.

I have been a tenant of Kenton since Jul 2006. Being a single female living on the top floor safety is important. When I come home late, I feel safe walking up to my apartment because each unit has an assigned covered parking. The covered parking area is well-lit and every front porch has a light. Now that's safety!!! Also the price is a steal at $790 for a 2br-2bath 1141 sq ft. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, the complex is gated and the pool is beautiful. My bedroom and closets are huge. Lots of storage space in the units. You can not beat that!!

In addition, maintenance requests are always handled the same day and the management keeps the grounds clean and manicured!! I have been consistently pleased with their competence and efficiency. Staff and management have extended themselves beyond the expected level to make my experience and housing needs important.

Also the location is surrounded by shopping centers and restaurants. HEB, Wal-Mart and Rolling Oaks Mall are just down the street. Access to I-35, Loop 410 and Loop 1604 within minutes.

The neighbors are friendly and polite as well. This is a peaceful and close-knit community. Great place to raise kids!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This one was written by a member of the office staff without a doubt. It reads like an ad not a review. How nice for you, if you really are/were a tenant that everything worked so well for you. That was not my experience.

Hm......certainly does sound like an ad. It does have a fairly safe feel, although, if you live right next to Park Place across the street, be ready for people jumping the fence to evade police. The maintenance guy, can't remember his name, nipped that in the bud one day, but they are loud and doing drug deals on that side of the street all the time, the police are there constantly - I would feel much safer in the middle of the complex. Also, I took my toddler son to the playground and a bunch of kids were hanging around there(like 10 or 12 of them ages 6-14) with no adult supervision at all, some of them were a little old to be hanging out there. Anyways, most of them were saying nasty things that should not be coming out of a kids mouth, pushing each other around, and they were just roaming around in the middle of the streets in packs as people were driving home from work with no mind at all to the cars - WHERE ARE THE PARENTS!!! Sadly, I will not be taking my son back there, which was one of the reasons I picked these apartments was for the "amenities". Fortunately, the library playground isn't too far up the street.

They don't live at the same Kenton Apartments I do! I have to agree with the above responses...this has to have been written by one of the staff. I have lived here since for almost 3 yrs. When we frist moved in, everything was perfect, until a new management(current one) took over. Thats when everything went down hill. Do not rent an apartment in the back area, near the Park Place Apartments...Sadly I am back there and know all to well about people jumping the fence, to run from the police, drug deals going down right outside the window. I have put in request after request to the maintenance team and months later still don't hear anything!! I have been out of hot water due to an ongoing hot water heater issue for up to 4 days before they responed. Our ice machine doesn't work, paint is peeling off our patio, we have to pay a pest control fee when we sign a lease but they have yet to come out and spray, we have had MAJOR issues with roaches and other bugs. When you tour the place make sure to look inside the gym. When I got the tour, they didn't let us go inside and now I see why, everything in there is broke, and the only treadmill that works you have to put down a deposit to get a key for it...the walls are broken and busted. This is just to name a few. I use to love to have friends and family over but at this rate I am too embarrassed. This place is a complete mess. Sad but true.

I would love to put myself in their shoes. Maintenance like to take "breaks" behind my apt...oh wait, no, they are hiding instead of doing their job! We have every right to complain when we're paying for services we don't receive....and I am buying a house to get out of this dump!
