The A/C systems do not work very well - the coolest we can get the apartment is 78 degrees and that is at the coolest setting possible on the thermostat. I was told by the maintainence worker that we just need to live with that. I have asked the management to call me to discuss the options but I have not received a phone call (been 3 days) so that don't care either. There is a list of other things that have not been fixed since February. Of course we get a smile on rent day. There is mud on the sidewalks and there is trash constantly thrown around. I pick up trash every morning before I leave. We only have two burners which work on the stove, the smoke detectors don't work - one actually fell from the ceiling in pieces. The water pressure is terrible, the toliets constantly run which causes the water bills to be high. There is a water leak where the wall and ceiling come together - the wall is actually soft and there is a stain. The mantle above the fireplace is so crooked we can even put anything on it because it will fall off. I replace the outside light every 2 weeks because the bulb keep burning out so there is a electric short of some kind. The pool is always closed for some reason and the riff raff that uses the pool make you not even want to go in. They give you assigned parking spaces but there always seems to be someone parked in my spot. If you are looking for a gated community to come here because that gate is always open and there seems to be a lot of people always walking around at all times of the night. I am tired of writing. Just be cautious if you decide to visit or rent at Kenton.
