The parking is terrible. Spots are too tiny, you can not open your door with out bumping the next car. Children and teens are always running around, destroying the property hanging out at the pool at all hours of the night. (parents fault not the complex's) The landcaping, well much of the area is just dirt, oh and dog crap. The only decent area is right infront of the office. They have a mowing company come out. They just blow the trash and leaves into a corner and mow over it. Being that the grounds are mostly dirt, I advise to keep your windows shut, or the mowers will just blow that crap into your house. The tennis court is cracked and they took out the sunshades, so its rather hot. Fitness center has a few machines most which are broken. And also, tons of stray and renters cats running all over the place.
We moved here in November 08. They were running a deal 200 bucks cheaper for a 2b2b, than our old 1b1b in Oakhampton. I saw 2 palmetto bugs (american roaches)with in a day of getting the keys. Should have seen that as an omen. We had to get both the closet shelves fixed, they had been broken before we moved in. The particle wood baseboards in the bathroom are disenigrating. I have to sweep/vacuum wood of the floor every few days. We've had our kitchen sink leak 3 times. The 1st two times it was fixed immediately. And the last which happened a month ago, took them two weeks to get the maintenance men over. It was to the point where it didn't shut off. I had to talk to them three times. The pics of the playground on their site must be really old. The playground is broke down and covered in vulgar graffiti. They have a swing set but the swings are gone. They also state its a gated community. Most the boards are missing along the fence. The entrance gate off of Nacogdoches is always open, and the one off Dreamwood drive never works. Once spring arrived our apartment had been infiltrated by pill bugs (rollie pollies). I went to walmart and bought some insecticide. It works but we have to sweep up mass graves of pill bugs every morning. I have had to kill 3 large(at least 2 1/2 inches) palmetto bugs in the last three days. We keep the apartment as clean as we can, while still being able to actually live in it. Its upsetting that they charge you a fee for them to spray your apartment in the lease, but they have never sprayed. And yes I did take a pic of one of these monsters before killing it!
Last night someone tried to steal my boyfriends motorcycle! They couldn't manage to get it started with the screw driver apparently! Not to mention the numerous break ins into my neighbors apartments. Seriously if you value your belongings, don't move here! mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
