HMMM, this was my first apartment and i was SOOO excited about it upon move in. Being a young, single girl, my father wanted to check around the premises to see what kind of neighbors i had. When there was nothing but ghetto jerks hollering at me while just DRIVING thru the complex, he warned me and gave me a baseball bat for security. Several Bad experiences resulted...
-not one, but TWO people have come to my door asking for money that i've never seen before..
-My stereo got stolen from my thirteen-year old car, Twice
-One night, there was a man laying in the street, screaming there was a hole in his leg, someone help... He stabbed me, he stabbed me!!! Ambulance came, picked him up, and i awoke the next morning to see a pool of blood in the street, literally.
-Can I tell you how many times i've seen people having sex in the pool from my pool view apartment'
-My bathroom has mold forming in it every month or so, and rusted faucets, paint chips even after we've had the tub resurfaced.
-My windows leak every time it rains, which maintanence likes to ignore
-When trying to get rental history of my stay, my new apt complex called the office, which had NO RECORD of me staying there, when they had just talked to me about my lease term the day before.
-LINDA is the RUDEST person i've ever encountered ANYWHERE.

And here's the kicker... The person living under my apartment was a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER and La Jolla had absolutely NO IDEA about it, until it was brought to my attention by myself. I did not appreciate that when my five year old daughter came to stay with me for 2 weeks.

I have to admit though, it is conveniently located, I always had parking at my building, and as soon as Eugenia became the new manager, she took care of me right away, and i greatly appreciate that. Also, Alexandria has been nothing but a sweet heart since we've been here.
