La Jolla is the first place I have ever lived in an apartment, and on my own. I admit that I was slightly disappointed with the apartment once I saw it, but it is my own fault for not viewing the very apartment I was moving into. But it was not trashed or messy or dirty or smelly. It's a great little apartment!! The rent is a bit high for such a small place though, I'm paying $1 per square foot. The staff is always nice and curteous, and I've never waited more than 1 day for something to be fixed by the maintenance staff, who are very friendly as well. The grounds are kept very very well, and the two pools are always clean. The fitness center is kind of sad, but it works. I've renewed my lease once, and will be renewing it again this fall.

I heard the management staff go into this site and write a "good" review anytime they see a good one. After reading this review I really believe it! This is a very bad place to live, I wouldn't recommend it to my worse enemy.

Actually I really do live here, and I have not had any serious problems, nor even seen anyone else having problems. I guess everyone has different experiences, but mine have been overall positive. I really don't know what everyone thinks is so terrible about it...

I have lived here for almost 8 months and I like it. If i had any problems it was fixed promptly!! I don't have a bug problem because I clean my apartment, I don't leave it nasty and dirty! The only problem I might have with the apartments are the dark parking lots and not enough parking spaces!!
