Where do I start'' After being shown a nice model home which later came my problem infested apartment, I had to numerously get someone to fix all the problems, which i might add took over 2 weeks, FOR EACH PROBLEM, so overall it was about a 3 month process. The front office only told me that it was because they had alot of work orders that needed to be completed and blah blah. OK. I shruged it off. At this time i was living in a one bed and really had no other problems. However, this was about to change drastically. After reading the other review titled "10 reasons not to live at LA Ghetto", which i might add explains everything very well in detail.
I was looking at moving into a 2 bedroom apt and after speaking with the new manager and getting a price quote, i had spoke it over with my new wife and we decided to go with it. After walking through the apartment the first time, we could not notice anything majorly wrong with it. We went back in to sign the lease, and the price was $40 DOLLARS HIGHER than what i was quoted. SO I called the AIMCO corporate office and explained the details to them. I was later called into the manager's office where she YELLED at me telling me that she did not like me and that she did not have to like me, but she just had to do her job and turned her back on me. This i might add happened on more than one occasion. After that she refused to speak with me and ever time she saw me she glared at me. Whatever. The price was corrected after finding out the true reasons behind it, after being told it was due to inflation, it was actually because it was keyed to have W/D hookup's in it, which it did not. We signed the lease and now were moving in. We found that almost EVERY baseboard in the apartment needed to be replaced for when they tore up the carpet. We nagged to the office for OVER 2 MONTHS before they came out and fixed just a couple of them and with a crawling baby, it was not a very great situation. We just had the last ones replaced this past week 8-04-06 and i have been here since march.

Our Bathroom was also very disgusting. Our mirror had paint all over it and they painted Latex paint over EVERYTHING. Latex does not stick in very moist conditions, so now all of the cabinets and paint on the walls in beginning to peel. Terrible situation. Along with things looking terrible, is the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart, had pieces missing or peeled up off of all the doors, the stove does not work well, i've had the refrigerator replaced going on 3 times now, as well as the faucet.

One thing that i am going to throw in here quickly is that when they did come to paint our bathroom, they had taken my showercurtain and THROWN it loosely on the floor as well as many other things of mine, i.e. boxes, books, and PICTURES, which i might add they bent all to hell!!!!!

SO now were are onto new management after Rachel and her WORTHLESS staff had left. Since then, i have had 3 workes use my toliet and not flush, Open my blinds to work and not close them, have almost been in a fistfight with an office worker (the assistant manager), been told the gates were going to be fixed and they were going to be serving taco's to everyone leaving, etc...the list goes on and on..

one thing here recently that we have had a problem with is the people who live above us, had an A/C Leak, which in return leaked into our apartment. We were gone for a total of a week, and in that week, the A/C unit most likely was leaking. We came back to a very very wet carpet, a A/C closet with STANDING WATER IN IT, and water spots on the celing. What does this amount to' How about all the mold and mildew that you can THINK OF. I called after hours maintence and they refused to come to my apartment becuase he was 2 hours away and did not want to come and told me to let it dry and that he would have someone out in the morning and that any damage that was done, was done and they were not liable for it. he also told me to SHUT MY A/C UNIT OFF IN 100 DEGREE HEAT'!!!'!'!'! After morning came, workers came to teh apartment and said that they would have to let the water dry in the apartment and that there is nothing that they can do, and most importantly, I WAS ASKING FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE TO BE DONE, ASKING THEM TO FIX IT. Nothing has been replaced and now my own wife and daughter can not live in our own apartment or they are completely miserable. What did the office do for us so far' Offered us a $50 credit for this month and to try to "Fix" the problem. If they consider "FIXING" the problem SPRAYPAINTING over standing Water, then yes, they fixed the problem. The Problem is that my wife and daughter both have allergies to mold and mildew. They have yet to offer ANY FORM of compensation not to mention the Assistant Manger always tries to argue with me and tries to turn the table saying that it is something that we have done and not the apartments complex's problems, It is something that we have done to cause it or we have done it. For example, working in my apartment and leaving the blinds WIDE OPEN for EVERYONE TO SEE!! Thus i told the guy who calls himself the assistant manager that he needs to notify his workers needed to leave the apartment just as they left it. He boldly told me that no one had been in my apartment that day. That is a HUGE LIE and i know based on the papertowels. Papertowels were left in my A/C closet and someone had to remove those, and it was not me or my wife and the carpet guy had no idea which leaves workers.

I thought things were going to get better with the new management, but all the workers are dirty and definatley lazy, and nothing is fixed. Not to mention the walls are paper thin like eveyrone else has explained in every other negative review. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!! GO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

I Definately will NOT be reneuing (sp) my lease

I know who you are and you are a picky, lying, high maintenance loser. If you want to live in a Class A property then PAY for one. LOSER!
