Some good, some bad

I've been here since 99 and have seen things change as the management team has changed with repeated owner changes. It was great in 99 and got worse with each change until the latest. The new team is friendly and helpful, except for the top manager--she is condescending, brusque and unpleasant to deal with. Tenants go out of their way to avoid the office when she's there. The others are super friendly and helpful. The current maintenance crew is fast and efficient. The bad: The top manager; parking (not nearly enough) and none is assigned unless you rent the poorly located covered parking. Airport noise is there, but bearable--if you don't realize you're a mile from the airport, it's your own fault. A few water bugs/roaches/ants, but not bad. Way too many unattended dogs that bark all hours. An unenforced 20 or 40 pound dog weight limit (neighbor has two pit bulls who run loose during the day)--may explain the lack of kids that move in. Poor communications by management--no one told us they were rennovating the pool arre and how long it will be; I feel sorry for the folks who rented the pool area for a wedding only to find it torn up, drained and piled high with materials. On the other hand, a lot of work is being done to improve the complex. With the number of tenants and the rents they charge, they should hire a night patrolman to reduce the auto burglaries. Still, I like it and recommend it to my friends.
