At first I thought this was a fabulous apt. for the price. I was able to negotiate a discount for being in the medical field, although this was not outwardly offerred like most apts. Shortly after moving in I begn having problems more frequently. My dishwasher is so ancient I should take it to PBS antique road show, despite maintenance man's insistence that pouring acid down the drain will fix it I've never had a clean dish. The pricy $40 for a private pkg space doesn't guarantee you pkg and mngmt. doesn't enforce this. My electric bill has been almost $200 for 650 sq. feet and I've kept therm at 85 deg!! you can guarantee hearing everything ( i mean everything) going on both sides of your apt and upstairs. and plan to sweat if you do your laundry while you are home, the whole place will turn into a sauna with the dryer running... oh yeah did i mention my shower wall started to collapse on me' yeah, i felt like i was in the movie dark water. on the plus side, the ducks are cute if you don't mind the roaches scattering around while you walk to the lake. And one more thing, the bookeeping is aweful, these people have absolutely no idea how to even add and subtract, and they have the nerve to send you a nasty gram saying you owe this and that and you are late, then you pay them and the next month they will send you a letter saying that you overpaid and you have a credit. Thank god they aren't trying to balance the national budget. Just keep your receipts always, cause they can be very nasty until you prove them wrong, which doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Hi I don't live here, but I was looking to move in here, but I just had to write, you made me laugh so hard, i am looking to move out of a electrical trap/apartment complex called the Oaks of Mary Mont, but now I see that your apartments are the same way when it comes to CPS. Thanks, I needed the laugh today and the part about their booking is hillarious, so sad it is thru though, good luck!!!

I agree. I can't wait to move from here. My apartment's cps bill is outrageous, especially for a 1 bedroom. Glad others ejoy it, but on a army budget 200 doesn't meet it.
