I had a pet and 150 is non refundable AND not used toward pet damages. Its just a fee for you having a pet. Also, I had to pay 10 a month. I ended up paying 270 for just having a pet and lost that money for no reason. The money was not used toward pet damages and repair. They took the fee out of my 150 refundable pet deposit instead.

The reason I moved out though was my apartment was broken into with no signs of forced entry. The sliding doors and front door were locked. I believe the maintenance staff may be helping people break into apartments.

The planes were very noticeable overhead at times.

That set up is not unusual though. Apartments don't want you to have pets because they cause damage. By charging you more they hope to deter you from having a pet in the first place.

Thats the price of having a pet and renting apts. If the dog is small, you should just keep ur mouth shut about it....lots of people get away with it. As far as your break in, could they have slid through a window? Did it happen with anyone else? Theres a thing called changing locks...

They'll see you walking your dog if you lie about it. I lived there for 6 years and the management knows who is who, trust me. Some person who lived by the pool had their "undocumented" dog out on the patio all the time. Way to keep the dog secret, eh? The manager at the time talked to me about it and told me they weren't supposed to have a pet.

I live at these apartments with my dog. Everyone knows who has dogs there and the management is very easy to work with in regards to pets. Pet deposits and pet rent is everywhere, that is the price you pay for pets. If you dont like it, you should buy not rent. If my dog causes damage to someone elses property I SHOULD be responsible for fixing it. As far as the apt goes, I love it but lately some of the new people moving in are a bit questionable. Hopefully they will leave soon.
