After my husband and I moved from this complex late last year, I expected to come back on here and see someones review of what happened the month before we left.
Since no one wants to talk about it, I will I guess.
There was a guy living with his girlfriend on the bottom half of the townhome, and two single college girls living on the top half.
Well the guy goes crazy one day and kidnaps the two girls and rapes both of them for two days.
Then one girl tried to escape and he beat her to death on the kitchen floor.
He let the other one go thank god.
My husband and I came home one day to the entire left side of the complex barricaded off and about twenty police cars all over the place.
Just as we approached we saw the sicko get tased and knocked to the ground.
Other than this horrific tragedy the complex is fine, it is the best one in San Antonio for the price.

I remember that incident! Coming home from work and finding all of the management outside along with about a dozen police cars and the unit wrapped in crime scene tape. It was the scariest thing I'd ever seen! All this happened about two months after we moved in and believe me we were tempted to move right back out. Thankfully the property reacted quickly and reassured the safety of the residents. We aren't immune to madness and in some situations it pays to know who your neighbors are. Despite the past, I am pleased with the apartments. We have been here for almost 2 years and are about to renew our lease. My kids feel safe and the apartment is very spacious. The maintenance crew responds fairly quickly and the new managers are always eager to answer my questions or concerns. The only complaint I have is the damn mail man who returns your mail if you don't check it every week. But that's another story...LOL!
