the six-month lease option was very nice. it was my first apartment. since the buildings are pretty old, i wasn't too surprised to find mold growing under the carpet. i beleive it started because the toilet in the room could not be shut off and would continously flow over the bowl. they wouldn't fix it-- they said it still works. they did replace the water heater though quite quickly. i was charged a cleaning fee even though i left the apartment in much better condition than when i moved in (i do a bit of handyman work). the parking was a nightmare at times and there are lots of those younger guys with japanese cars that drive as fast as possible through the parking lot. i wouldn't quite say Lincoln Green is a slum, it's not a bad place at all if you're between apartments/houses.
