On Friday, June 29, 2007, the ceiling in a downstairs apartment at the Lincoln Green Apartments collapsed in an infant's crib, pack n play, his parents bed, and all over the bedroom floor. The tenants called the answering service several times that evening to tell them and maintenance that a substantial amount of water was pouring down from the light fixtures in the bedroom closet, the ceiling fan in the bedroom, and the light fixtures and vents in the bathroom. After several calls NO ONE FROM MAINTENANCE EVER CAME. In fact it was not until after the ceiling collapsed and News 4 WOAI showed up to film the devastation that maintenance arrived. They were only concerned with cleaning the destruction before it was filmed. As if that wasn't bad enough, maintenance told the tenants that he never entered the apartment because he didn't have keys to their apartment. Management advised that was a lie. The maintenance worker also told the tenants that it was not his problem the ceiling collapsed because he did his job and found the leak upstairs. Obviously, it was his fault because he NEVER did anything to remove the water from upstairs and never entered the downstairs apartment to check the damage. Management refused to place the tenants in a hotel before the ceiling collapsed, as the tenants expressed concern that the ceiling would collapse due to the immense amount of water that was pouring down. Even after the ceiling collapsed, management refused to put them in a hotel. To date management has not done anything to ease the suffering they caused. They have refused to cover the thousands of dollars in damages that incurred due to their negligence. NO ONE from management has even apologized to them for what happened. THANKFULLY, the infant was not in his crib when the ceiling collapsed. IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING MOVING TO THE LINCOLN GREEN APARTMENTS PLEASE, PLEASE THINK AGAIN. IT IS DANGEROUS. MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE ARE HORRIBLE!!! They have left their tenants homeless and do not care.

Not sure exactly, but I think it's in building #2.
