Ok, I was there almost 7 years, and when I moved out 2 weeks ago, I found all the copies of maintenance request sheets (from both apartments I was in). All SEVEN requests. I honestly have to doubt whether all these outrageous claims are made by ACTUAL residents (past or present) of Lincoln Green. There are far too many cheaper apartments up and down Braesview/Patricia for real people to continue to live in these alleged conditions. It just doesn't ring true. This sounds like scare tactics from competing apartment complexes. And no, I have never been an employee of anything associated with LG.

Lived here?

I lived here for almost a year, and I loved my apartment. I NEVER had to call maintenance and it was quite and no noise. The only problem I had was a truck hit my SUV, she was pulling in and after her park lights came on I started pulling out and she decided to re-park. No harm no foul. I had to break my lease for medical reasons and I know they were none to happy for that, but I loved my apartment. It was clean and I had two water roaches the hole time I was there...it had just rained. One problem I found though was the patio you can not sit out on when it rains and they never hooked up the little metal tube thing when they installed my washer/dryer (I cleaned when I moved out). I wish I had known about that. But I think they are nice apartments, the gate always worked and they are a very very large complex and had several entrances and exits and they even have parking outside the complex for when you forget your key card and have to hoof it to your apartment. I would move back there if I could but like I said I had to break my lease.

I think your both idiots. How do you explain the innocent family who's ceiling collapsed on them and Lincoln Green did NOTHING to help them. Maintanence never came until after the ceiling collpased. The tenants cld numerous times, hours before the ceiling collapsed to let maintanence and management know that there was an immense amount of water coming from the ceiling. And that story was on WOAI. So NO you pathetic losers these accusations are completely true. Stop trying to sugarcoat a nightmare. Lincoln Green is HORRIBLE!!!

Well I think one of these responses was written by someone who works there, likely the incompetent manager. The comment about "real people" would move was particularly funny... and just plain ill-informed. How do you move idiot, when you are locked into a lease? In any event, as a mature, reponsible individual I can assure you it was a hell-hole, with drug dealers, raucous all night parties, cops there constantly, thugs hanging around stairwells, smashed in windshields, muck covered unrepaired sidewalks, unlocked or inoperable gates, leaking pools left unrepaired for 10 months with a hose running 24/7 all that time or a completely useless and surly maintenance group and disfunctional office manager and appliances constantly in need of repair. Oh and the fire? No accident there. Likely, like my neighbor, they also had rats in the attic which more than likely started the fire by chewing through wires. My neighbor? Their response wasn't to repair the hole and remove the rats. No.... there response was to move him... and rent the place out to yet another unsuspecting tenant... but more likely a Section 8. The place is a pig-sty. All you have to do is look at the burnt out units which months and months later are still not rebuilt and that tells you everything you need to know about this slum. Feel for those left homeless from the fire and the couple whose ceiling fell in on the baby's crib because the lazy incompetent maintenance manager wouldn't do anything about it. The place is an infested dump. (Oh ... gee, did I forget to mention the host of termites nesting in my bathroom?) Signed: Happily in my own house.
