The best decision I ever made after living in that rat-hole, drug-ridden slum for 2 years was to get out, as I did last September. I agree completely with this contributor's comments. Cars were broken into, the drug-dealer's bedroom window (next to mine) was smashed in... thugs lounging on the only stair to my apartment, a pool that was leaking for 8 months with a constantly running hose, sidewalks covered with muck because they were too lazy to fix them, surly and useless maintenance personnel and the male "property manager," using the term loosely, who is rude, inept, arrogant and lazy. Then as I drove by around the beginning of June, past the burnt apartments which are still unrestored months and months later, I see a literal phalanx of police cars there on Braesview in the middle of the day. The only comment I disagree with on this person's write-up is this. Yes, there is indeed a slum on Belair, but the real Section 8 is Braesview Apartments! So happy to be out of there. Can you tell'
