Lincoln green is in a transition to section 8 housing. This transition started when the current owner, an Indian (India), bought the complex around eight years ago. He does not like to spend money to keep the apartment complex up to standard. The way the maintenance people in the past have kept things running was with the rubber band approach. Now with all the deferred maintenance the rubber band approach does not work as the appliances are all starting to break down. So now they have to wait until another resident leaves Lincoln green then they take the appliance from that apartment to put it in yours. By using this approach you get put on a waiting list that means you will get a replacement appliance in one to three weeks if you are lucky. Then you have to hope this replacement appliance from another apartment lasts a while otherwise you will end up on another waiting list. If your appliance is a refrigerator you can count on losing hundreds of dollars in food your lost as they will not reimburse you for your spoiled food.

The Apartment Complex
rotting wood
pipes that burst in your apartment and on the grounds
sewer smells in the apartments from the sewer systems
buckling roofs just waiting to give you leaks in your apartment if you already don t have leaks
dog poop all over the sidewalks and grass so be careful where you walk and hold your breath as it stinks from the dog poop
Trash all over the grounds
Millions of flies and bugs who love to come into your apartment to join you for supper
Many unlit areas because of broken or missing floodlights on the grounds
Shrubs, weeds and hedges that need trimming
Leaves piled up inches thick creating breading areas for bugs
Dogs not on leases wandering around the complex
Flooding in lower level apartments areas due to water filling the pools left running for up to six hours or more
Nails, screws and roofer nails in the parking areas so the unlucky ones can get flat tires
Apartment and auto break-ins the police are here constantly on calls

My recommendation to anybody thinking about moving here is don t do it. At this time there are 100 apartments empty due to Lincoln Green not being a quality place to live.

Dont move to Lincoln Green Apartments unless your a dirty ass low life scum bag or nasty katrina trash that swam out of your rat holes and now here on government funding committing crimes because your to damn lazy to get a job all you care about is getting high and stealing other peoples ---- and living on welfare to support your loser life style. Well for all other decent respectable mankind do your self a favor stay away from this place, thankfully I just moved out and i feel so much safer my car hasn't been broken into in the last month an my place hasnt flooded my alergies have cleared up and my neighbors are respectable trustworthy people whom have jobs and aren't up all night parting fighting yelling stealing...i just can't draw a green enough picture after being traumatized and stuck on contract with Lcln Grn apts. good luck...
