The Slums of Lincoln Green are owned and managed by CNC Investments which is owned by an Indian man from India. This man does not like to spend money to keep his apartments up to standard. The apartments here at the Slums of Lincoln Green need roof repairs, rotten wood replacement, new appliances as the old ones can t be repaired as most of them are at least 20 plus years old, cleanup and major maintenance of the grounds, paint jobs, mold removal inside and outside, sewer maintenance, dog poop removal, major pest extermination, and maintenance staff that knows what they are doing with no attitude!

Renters here have refrigerators that don t work right and maintenance does not repair them properly or either replaces them with another old one from another apartment that has the same problem costing the renter to have food spoilage costing you up to $500 to $1,000. Roof leaks that they don t repair they say they have contacted corporate and they will send out their team which is based in Houston then you find out when you get the next major rain storm a major leak in your apartment and if you are really unlucky the ceiling collapses in fact one fell in on a baby s crib. Bugs are a major problem here you step outside at night and you are swarmed with bugs if you are lucky it is only grass bugs if not you get 4 to 6 inch roaches. The bugs love to come into you apartment and buzz you, get in your face and food. The grounds are loaded with dog poop which is not pleasant to smell and as you walk by it the bugs start coming after you they do not believe in picking up the dog poop so it will remain until you get enough rain to wash it away. At nights when you are outside you can smell sewer odors and if you are really one of the unlucky ones you will have sewer odors inside you apartment just try sleeping with that odor! Security at the Slums of Lincoln Green forget about that it has many dark apartment building as the floodlights are out or are missing a pizza delivery man was robbed here at gunpoint. There is not a week that doesn t go by that you won t see at least four to five police here on a problem. Parking here can be a hazard to your car as there are many nails, screws and other sharp objects in the parking areas to give you a flat tire or two. If your air conditioner breaks down it can take up to two months to finally get it fixed. If your dishwasher breaks down you will be put on a list and if you are lucky you will get another in six months. The items I have just mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg as there are many other unpleasant or undesired things going on here.

This property is not properly maintained because the man from India would rather keep the money in his bank account than give you a place that you can live in comfortably and enjoy coming home to.

Great review as you have pointed out a number of the problems here at Lincoln Green. The staff and their corporate people don't seem to care about giving you a nice place to live so the only choice we have is when our lease is up to move out. I just hope others don't make the same mistake and move in here!

As a previous renter, I completely agree. I was fortunate enough not to have to deal with the leaking or the mold, but I definitely had to deal with sub-standard appliances. The office staff, as well as the maintenance staff, are all a big joke. None of them are professional...at all. The only way that I got any attention was by calling them every single day until they were so sick of me that they took action. You're right...the owner does not care about the property. The maintenance staff told me themselves that the owner will not spend money to repair the property. What a shame...this property was once one of the nicest places to live in San Antonio. It has now become a crime infested dump. If you're thinking of living here, do yourself a HUGE favor and RUN!!!!!
