Where do I start' I guess from the beginning. The very first night, which was my wedding night, at around 4:00 in the morning my husband woke me up saying we had a leak. I thought it was just a small leak that could be fixed in the morning. He told me to get up and come to the bathroom. We were litteraly flooded! There was gushing water comming from the air vent in the bathroom. I called the emergency number and she asked if there was more than 2 in of water on the floor. Uh I wouldnt call if I didn't think it were an emergency. Half of our living room was underwater, not to mention our bed room and closet. It took 2 weeks for everything to be repaired. We were living out of boxes for 2 weeks, and that was only because I called and bugged them every day. They said they could put us in a model but they would need the keys back by 7:00am. They didn't offer to move us to another apt since we just moved in that day. They didn't offer us a discount in rent. They didn't even appologize! Come to find out it was our upstairs neighbor who flooded her toilet. No apology from her either! Finally they gave us a $100 off first mo rent. They didn't come to fix it, until I threatened with a lawyer! The second time it happeded, luckily I knew what to do so it didn't get too bad. They have broken in to so many cars here, they are spray painting on cars. I also heard that there was a trailer of 12 people living in the back of the complex. Not in an appt, out of their trailer! They have the water turned off at least once a month due to main breaks. The gates don't work. Overall it is not a good place to live.
09-08-07 Boy did I speak too soon. It happened again, about a month before our lease was up! 8AM Saturday morning on the 11th of July, the fire alarm went off. Scared the hell out of me, so I jumped out of bed to see what was going on. Heard the water, then went strait to the kitchen to get our 20gal trash can. I put the trash can under the water and called the office. Well being that it was 8am, obviously the office wasn't open. I got the answering service and she said that she would get the maintainence guys on it. The water finally stopped spewing out of the vent. I called an hour later and asked what was going on. The lady told me that the maintanience guys were not answering their pages. Needless to say, they never came. They sent a carpet cleaning guy to clean up the mess. The end result was no new carpet, just padding, no new sheetrock, just new celing. They didn't even shampoo the carpets!!! EW GROSE! There was mold growing in less than an hour of the flood on the celing, so no telling how long it had been there! I know it doesn't take mold less than an hour to grow. It smells bad of mildew and mold. We were put in a model home, smaller than what we had. Half of the things didn't work! We got the hell out of there before our lease was up. We didn't break it, we just didn't tell them! The only compensation was $150 off the last month rent. If this can happen 4 times in less than 1 year, you know that they aren't doing something right. To never call and see if we are okay or see if there is anything they can do for us. To at least waive the last month rent, or something, I mean we had to deal with this for 1 year. Here are pictures to pove my story! You know that movie 1408' Try Apt 1411. IT'S HELL!

Yup.....this apartment is hell...they all are but SPECIALLY this one, i lived there from 07-08..got flooded AT LEAST 7 TIMES..the AC BROKE AT LEAST a total of 40 DAYs during the summer(if it broke on a Friday i was totally screwed which happened about 5 times they would not get to fix it till tuesday or wed of the following week and the temperature outside had to be 85 degrees with no wind to be considered an emenrgency). The WINTER was yet ANOTHER nightmare which at firs i didnt mind, but after not having a heater for a whole month and seeing that they didnt care i started to bug them....it took so long that by the time they fixed it, the hot temperatures where back....and the ac didnt work again.....hahahaha it sounds crazy but it's sooooooo true.
