I've been a resident for 2 years now, and this place is horrible! The front office has gone down hill !! the breaking point was about a month and a half ago. It was after all the rain. I walked to the fitness center to go work out and it was locked, I was suprised because it was open just 4 days ago. I figured no big deal, I'll work out at home, so when I'm done I walk to the swimming pool. It was filthy a ton of flowers, and you could'nt see the bottom of the pool.
Since my lease was about to be up I wanted to make sure that these ammenities would be available to me if I resign fo another year. I deciede to call the front office and talk to them, about my lease, the pool and the fitness center. When I called I received the answering service and was told all of the leasing agents were out, and they would be back in 15 minutes. I waited about 25 minutes to make sure they were back, but once again I got the answering service and was told the same thing again.
I'm a little suprised by this because they have a lot of leasing agents. so I walk to get a soda by the office and I notice, people walking in and out of the office. I got my soda and walked in the office, and to my suprise there are 3 agents who have clearly been there for a little while because they are goofing off, and did'nt look like they where out walking around in the summer heat. I sit down and the first thing I ask them is, what incentive are you offering for me to resign for a year' I was told " nothing but a free carpet shampoo". My next question was what's up with the fitness center, she very rudely says " We are biding on it now" in a very condesending tone. My final question was what's up with the pool' She goes " what's wrong with it I just walked by there'" which once again I was suprised because I walked by all 5 pools and never saw her or another leasing agent walking around. After she told me she just walked by there, I asked her if she looked at the pool she rolled her eyes and says " yes, there is only flowers in it!" After that I replied you can't even see the bottom of the pool. she replies by telling me " she'll get somone on it." I was not happy with my experience at the front office so after about 10 minutes I decide to call to express my concern to the apartment manager and once again I get the answering service.
I kept walking by all the pools through out the day and nothing was ever done about it. This shows the lazy, and uncaring additude by the front office. Today, a month and a half later I walk by the fitness center and it is still closed !! I start getting frustrated, so I decide to call the front office and make them think I am intrested in moving in to the apartments. My first question is how much to move in for the first month of rent and deposit I was told $180.00, which I find insulting, because I am a 2 year tenant, and always pay on time and never had a disipline letter from management, and I have to pay more to sign a lease than, a new tenant' That does'nt make much sence!!
The next question I ask is what ammenities do you offer I'm told a fitness center and 5 pools. That is a bold face lie!!! A resident can not use the fitness center because mangement will not unlock it. Also the pools can't be used because they are never clean!! My advise is to stay away!!! These are uncaring, unproffesional, and unhonest people, the contract you sign is for a year and the ammenities you sign for are not able to be used! Don't get ripped off there are a ton of apartments in San Antonio, choose another one!!
