Today I received a notice that the complex has been bought out by the MBS Company. I couldn't be more infuriated! This company runs apartments into the ground. It is only a matter of time before that happens here. I almost lived in an MBS-owned complex but decided on the Lodge because I'd heard so many bad things about MBS and didn't want to deal with them. Apartment renters elsewhere have told me that they loved their homes before MBS took over. Their complex soon became trashy and unsafe. MBS will not allocate funds for maintenance or pool cleaning. Just look at the Mirada on West Avenue if you want to see the kind of place MBS runs. The pool is green, the lights are all broken and the breezeways are covered with trash! This is a tragedy for the Lodge at Sonterra.
