I have lived here for almost three and a half years and I have always enjoyed calling the Lodge at Sonterra my home. I was very upset when the Lincoln staff moved on because I had always received remarkable service from both the office and maintenence staff, and frankly I do not like change, and then when I read all the things people here have to say about MBS I was like oh my God. But I have not seen what the fuss is about, they seem to be doing a fine job to me. If there were problems at first it was probably because they are trying to get settled in. It always takes a while! But too bad I will never know if they are truly wonderful because I decided to move last minute. My lease ends in September and although it makes me sad to leave (because I do like it here for it has become my home) I just can't take this Stone Oak traffic anymore, it gives me such a headache, it's nice to have so many restaurants and doctor's offices in the neighborhood but I am a very out-and-about person and I am not patient at stop lights and behind long rows of cars so I decided to move right next door to my gym since I am there so often and this will really eliminate a lot of frustration for me. Apparently Stone Oak is the place to be because everyone migrated here after I was all moved in and settled and it just seems I can't go any direction without hitting traffic which is annoying when all you are trying to do is leave your damn neighborhood. But besides that this place has been great, I will miss it, and I would recommend it as a nice place to live. When I went to turn in my 30 day notice the office staff was very friendly, it's too bad I won't be able to get to know them better. I hope everyone who has been having problems will give them half a chance because I'm sure the Lodge at Sonterra will continue to be a great home for people.

I tried to give them a chance, but after 2 weeks sweating with no air conditioning and no security lights when I arrive home after dark with my son, I am tired of giving them a chance. They are running the place you called home straight into the ground! There is trash everywhere and the new owners won't spend a dime maintaining the complex. They have been here long enough now to get their act together and it isn't happenning! It just gets worse everyday.
