This review is not written in anger, and is truthful and honest in every word without ";)" the wink is for sarcasm not lies.

The Location- This complex is in a great location in San Antonio. Very close to two very nice and newer hospitals. Near nice clubs, bars, and a variety of restaurants. Traffic in this area gets congested but not even close to being the worst in San Antonio(most of the time there is very little traffic). Stone oak gets very backed up coming from 1604 between 3pm-7pmish but people here seem to be a lot better drivers and flows very well. CVS is a "stone's throw away" which has turned out to be very convenient. 2 nice HEBs very close.

The Complex- The complex was built in 2001 I believe so it is in pretty good condition. As you enter the complex you can see flower beds that are very well kept. You can also see all the first floor units have railing or fences on the porches(keep looking as you travel around the complex and you will see most of the first floor units dont have this feature, most are bordered with "lame" little bushes). It looks unfinished to me. The gates have not worked a majority of the time I have lived here. I think people run into them a lot, but I dont know. Someone has apparently had an argument with the "gate code box" and the box lost the fight, lol, but is still alive and working, except for the screen. Every Mon, Wed, Fri trash can be placed outside near the street and is picked up by the maintenance team which has been very convenient. The amenities are okay but not great. The jacuzzi is not a "hot tub" because it lacks the "hot". Pool has been kept up with from what I have seen of it. Parking is good where we are at in the complex, never a long walk.

My Apartment- Great layout, well designed, and great location. Has washer and dryer in unit! One last good thing is now gone but I must mention it, as I am being truthful, we had great(quiet and friendly) neighbors for the first half of our time here. Now our neighbors are horrible(screaming, fighting, and loud parties at 4 am during the week). Anyway, our apartment is not what we were told we were going to get. The models have nice soft bur bur carpet and when we asked them if it was the same they said "it will be the bur bur carpet" notice they didnt say "this bur bur" but "the bur bur" ah ha!! We got stuck with the hard, tight woven bur bur garbage. The frayed edges were not enough cause to replace it before we moved in I guess. No we didnt look at "the" apartment before we signed the lease(dumb move
The Management- Be careful how you ask questions and dissect their answers. Overall the management has been kind and courteous(notice I didnt say "very kind and courteous". When the gates first started working after a few months, I asked for a 2nd remote for the gates and the management told me I would have to put down a $55 deposit for the 2nd remote(there are two people on the lease both drivers). They dont really return phone calls 95% of the time but honestly neither do I so I wont complain but just mention it.

The Overall- This is an okay complex in a great location. I will avoid living in another property owned by the same company. But I will miss those plastic railings, people speeding through the parking lot and pulling out in front of me because there are not stop signs or speed bumps, and all the children running around in the streets. *sigh* the good old days;)

Oh and the price was right!!
