My wife and I have lived here for one year now and have been very happy with both the property and the service that the management team has provided. I read all the negative reviews and it seems to me that most of these people have unrealistic expectations when it comes to economically priced rental properties. I spent 2 years in the recent past living at one of the most prestigeous and expensive apartment properties in Alamo Heights and have encountered the same issues everyone complains about there just as often as at The Lodge. Yes we have had needs for maintenance. Our A/C has gone out twice, but both times it was repaired within a few hours. We are currently in the process of moving to a larger unit on the property and the Management team has been very helpful in finding us a great new apartment at the best price. I, like many, arent fond of the occasional monster stereo driving through the parking lot at 1 am but I challenge anyone to find an apartment complex that has none of that. This property is well maintained by a small group of guys who work too hard dealing with too many petty complaints. Shame on anyone who submits a workorder to replace a lightbulb and then complains when maintenance is overwhelmed when they really need something.

Personally, I find these anonymous reviews similar to what the management staff would always say to me when I had a complaint while living there. Look at the pattern of the anonymous reveiws before you base your decision about renting at this place.
