i came across this site and i was sooo happy i finally get a chance to speak my mind about the nitemare i experienced there..it was by far the worst unprofessional place i have ever lived...i lived there back in 2000-2001...i was planning on moving away for my job back east...i did not realize my lease still had one month left before it expired...i talked to the scatter brained manager at that time who i pray to god is still not there, or i pity the residents..i asked her if she would agree to let me out of my lease by one month otherwise i would just move as planned and mail the last months rent...she told me it was nooo problem letting me out of my lease since i was such a good tennent...well i made the mistake of not getting it in writing because i trusted her...BIG mistake...when i inquired about my deposit, their financial office said i broke my lease so that meant i was not going to get my money back, and in fact, i still owed them money for the time the apartment was vacant till it was rented again...i told them about the aggreement with the manager and they said she did not remember such a conversation....oh sure, i just left out of state taking a chance like that without telling them.....i'm sooo sure!!!!!!give me a break if they think ppl are that stupid...then the girl said well the manager might have had a really bad day she told you that because this complex doesn't allow exceptions....then why exactly do they even have a manager if she has no authority''' and why should residents pay for a manager having a bad day...well they got their money and then i got a letter saying they never received anything...so since i didn't want to jeopardize my good apartment standing i had no choice but to send them another check...before i could cancel the first check from my bank i was suprised to find out they not only just cashed the first check i sent them but the second also...when i called to get my money back they would not talk to me and refund my money...please stay away from this conn place...if you are there now, get EVERYTHING in writing because lying is what they do best there....iam finally glad to speak my mind since they stole my money and got away with it...do not believe anything they say because they are nice as pie to your face, but will cheat you anyway they can if you don't get things in writing...by the way, i still have both copies of the checks they cashed if they say this is only an angry resident getting at them..i have proof...
