I am in the process of looking for an apartment. I heard of this place from a friend. I went there and liked what I saw. I came back just a few days later and gave them nearly $250 in total move in fees. Less than 1 hour (no joke) after I submitted this money to them, I recieved an email (not a phone call) telling me that 'oops, we no longer have an apartment at the rate we quoted you'. Also, they refused to return my application fees even after only an hour of being given a rate (hand written I might add). Swallow my pride and decide to go out there 2 weekends after my first visit to see what they NOW have and what I will actually get. I did not like what I saw. The apartment was too small. I tell them I am no longer interested that very same day and, guess what, the remaining of the $250 can not be returned to me. They claimed to have held on to an apartment for a week or longer and because of that they cannot return the remainder of my money.

I have argued with them till I am blue in the face/red in the pocket. When they refused to return my money, I immediately contacted my bank to stop payment on the rest of the money. I have lived in apartments since 1993 and have NEVER dealt with this sort of shadiness from any apartment management. I am glad this happened BEFORE I moved in...

I'll be making a report to the BBB on this group; rip off artists.

Just wanted to update this post. Thanks to a very AWESOME employee named LouAnn, I was able to get most of my money back. She was able to handle my situation very professionally. Without her help, I doubt that I would have seen any return on my deposit. Thanks!
