I've lived at Medical Center Apartments for a year and will probably move out when my lease is up. When I first moved in the prices were reasonable but when I went to sign my renewal they tried to up my rent by 10% (you can negotiate though). I feel the water price (25/mo) is too much and the additional 10/mo for pet rent is kinda dumb. There is no trash pickup so you have to take your trash to the dumpster (but you can't leave it outside your apartment otherwise they get pissy). The rent is a bit overpriced for this area. The gate is always open so don't think you're getting security. I also have an ant problem that's kind of a pain. Management is not that bad, but they could be nicer so watch out. Now the good things, they are very pet friendly (they have a REAL pet park). Some apartments have nice carpet (mine does). I don't feel unsafe walking my dog at night. Mostly graduate students live here and lots of families so its not loud. Maintainance is very prompt. The inside and grounds of the apartments have been kept up. I always find a parking space around my apartment. Overall, it is not a bad place to live but could be a bit cheaper for what you get.
