WORST APARTMENT EVER! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/29/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I signed a one year lease with Mirada and when we moved in everything seemed ok. The carpet was horrible but they said they would either replace it or send the cleaners over again. 6 months later, still no carpet changes. Mail boxes where always open and the post office warned the staff to have it fixed. The management NEVER fixed them and the post office decided they were not going to deliver the mail there anymore because people could steal identities. Till this day I cannot find my mail. The hot tub has been broken since we moved in, the fitness center has 1 working treadmill. Everything else in there does not work. Computer in the business center doesnt work. The "security gates" never closed, they were always broken. A relative of mine lives there also and has not had hot water in 3 months. Maintence is horrible. My dripping faucets took 3 months to fix. Heater was broken for 3 months as well. Deposits are never given back. Apartments that are vacant are left unlocked and anyone can get in. I heard 3 gun shots coming from the 1st floor in my building. There are people always fighting outside. Nice on the outside but horrible to live in.Office staff changes all the time. they ignore any problems your having. They "loose" important documents and have lots of attitude. The book of all the features they offer is a complete lie! they claim to have dog walking services and clothes services which are lies. they claim to have activities and special things for tenants, lies again. they are full of lies and i will tell everyone i know NOT to live here.
