Sympathy for current renters

While living in these apartments, my experience was not very good from the beginning, but not horrible either. At first it was minor things...leak in the bathroom, stove missing connection to gas line. Then we moved on to bigger problems by month two....A/C went out, then had to be replaced eventually because each time they "fixed" the problem it'd go out the same night.Then winter rolled around and I discovered the heater did not work,after many requests it still did not get fixed and still never fixed when i moved out.Then the ultimate happened, I was broken into. Practically everything I owned was stolen, minus the television which was probably just too big for them to carry down the nasty stairwells. No signs of break in though, even the police report states that the violators had to have had key entry. Hmmmm...let's see, I was the only tenant, holding the only key issued...who else could've had a key. I went straight to management the next morning and luckily they agreed to let me out of my lease, which had top be the best news I'd gotten from this place.When my locks were changed that morning the maintenence guys were insulting and condescending,as if the break in was my fault. ( I think they were just guilty).
