This place is a joke. Forget the drugs, gangs, cockroaches and break-ins, that happens everywhere, my problem is that NOTHING gets fixed. You have to call a toll free # to get stuff fixed, however nobody fixes it. I have lived here since 08/08 and have been asking to have my dishwasher and sliding glass door (which falls out of the frame, not off the track,but actually falls out onto the patio) fixed and 15 mos later neither is fixed. My dishwasher leaves a nasty film on my dishes that takes me washing them by hand 3-4 times to remove. I was told repeatedly "it's the water". If it was the water it would still happen when the dishes are washed by hand.DUH!!!
You have to pay to have a parking space that is yours and if you don't pay, don't count on a parking space. We have 8 available spaces for 5 buildings and that includes guest parking.
However, if you have a broken lease, probably a felony conviction, unauthorized tenants or just about any other problem that would prevent other places from renting to you, then this is the place to apply, just don't be late with your bills and you are fine.
P.S. To get rid of cockroaches use combat gel on all your cupboard door hinges, under the sink, behind stove and refrig, under sinks, dishwasher and behind the toilet. That should fix the problem in a week. The pest control people won't tell you because then they will lose all their business, but it does work.
