To be fair, I'll share the good and the bad. THe good would be the community; very friendly. My experiences were a never-ending ant problem (even on the bed!). The apartments are spacious but shabby. I never really felt safe as the police was over quite often handling domestic violence affairs and at times just shining a bright light at night. Management does a great job hosting monthly tenant reunions, but does not respond well to tenant/repair situations. Other than the friendly neighbors, I truly despised living here. GOOD LUCK!

Oh yes, I still live there, and to tell you the truth, I have had the ant issuess and the tick and flea issuess! My husband and I have been here since June 2003, and the ants were everywhere like it was thier apt not ours, in bed, in the frege, pantry, closets, you name it they was there! Told by management "since we was on the 2nd floor this is highly uncommon", yeah right! Finially got the ants down to notice that something was jumping around our apt, bitting us all the time. Told management about this and all we got was the run around from the different office teams, and yes there was many. Now the new manager has really stepped up to the plate on several issuess including the fleas and ticks. I now have permant scaring on where the fleas and ticks have bitten me from very late 2003, to present. While they are not so bad now, I still don't want to invite family and friends over due to it! The new manager is a special person, of who I like and respect very much. This lady goes out there for her tenants here and I can truefully say this since she has for me, if nothing more than on the spraying issuess, I will never be able to thank her enough on that..but some of her staff have a long way to go, and the manager should watch her back because her assit manager looks like she's trying to take her job from her. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. On the apt. being shaby, no not now due to how they are trying to go about fixing them, but hey these are older apts., and all so believe me when I say that they were not built correct, and it shows when repairs are being done as well as on what reapairs are being done most offten. I guess good by the standards of yesterday, but me thinks not at all today. I wish that they would replace the fregrators with bigger more up to date models with icemakers. There is a real knowledgeable maintaince staff here that has the task of trying to do so much since all of the others didn't do anything before them besides get a paycheck. The grounds are beautyfull, and the wild animals exspecailly wild cats is way down. The tenants that let thier pets poop anywhere has been cut down, due to mngmt posting signs, and memo's to let tenants with pets know what they need to be doing about thier pet's poop. It had gotten so bad that one couldn't at times take a deep breath around here, or to just walk around with out slipping and sliding around here due to animal poop. The noise factor, and police calls are way down, thank goodness, since no one likes being woke up with police crusers and thier bright lights, but as of late the fire dept has been out here each and evey week-end in June. Hmm, I wonder if that counts as a disturbance? I just love most of the tenants here, but they just seem to moving out faster around here than greased lightin! Be sure as to check out about Satellite TV, you know the does and don't before you rent, as well as which company comes into this apartment. All I can say is one has to check out an apartment before they rent one. The key issues is that we are renters and if we don't like it here, then we can just pick up and move on out when ever our lease is up.
