Ugh, where to start about Oak Hills, well I am a resident of this place for going on two years, and I want out. Since I have been there they have changed management three times, so that says something. Oh and maintenance/janitors. What a dynamic duo there grade A! First off, they are father/son and do not show up when asked to fix things. Instead they show up when they want, and oh get this. They knocked one time and entered my next door neighbor's apartment/house with their own key. Once I was in the shower myself, and I heard one knock just like my neighbor. Then the door opens. When they heard me in the shower they quietly left the apartment, and quietly locked the door from the outside and left. Never fixed anything how crazy is this. I pay rent of over $600 just to have them walk in when they want. The gutters are absolutely crazy it turns into Niagra Falls when it rains. We have asked the dynamic dou well over a dozen times in two years. Yes that's right two years. These gutters are home to minature trees. Don't walk up the steps to the second floor units or you might drown during a rainstorm. I called once about my toilet and it took the dynamic duo over one hour to get to my home. They both live right on property and it took them over one hour to get there' Why' If it was there apartment they wouldn't let their toilet over flow for one hour! It's a matter of them simply not caring because it is not them. Oh and during the summer my air bills are so high. I use to pay $80 a month for the same size unit somewhere else and here it is over $220. I have called and asked for a new unit and they come over with the same excuse everytime. It needs freon! WEll they say they put freon in and it is still hot how can this be. Even I can figure this out for them, and that is simply to look at the air units they are out of the 1950's. Now go to their apartments and low and behold brand new units. What about the rest of us that pay those outrageous bills. It seems that the motto of Oak Hills should be about hard life at the hills. Be careful signing a lease there as you will be charged and taken into the oak hills isolation units for the underprivledged. Can't forget the dynamic duo who walk around acting like they fix everything. They know they lack in motivation. There is a new manager now and hopefully things improve but maybe they should take notice of the condition the maintenance/janitors have put this place in. They improved security or at least it looks that way. There is someone walking around with a flashlight so that helps, but they deffinately need to make some improvements with the dynamic duo, and watch them carefully. Clean up the place and fix those problems and maybe just maybe the place might be worth it. Don't waste your hard earned money here unless you want to live in the hills, literally speaking hill country here. Be smart and check these problems for yourselves. This is all true all you have to do is look for yourself and see those gutters and garbage laying around, plus roaches running like wild animals. Maybe even talk to some residents they may tell you the truth. AS for me I have learned my lesson and will leave soon!!!
