I've lived in Oak Springs for over 2 years. I am desperately needing to get out, but in San Antonio it seems you move from bad to worse no matter where you go. I've had to put up with all kinds of crap. The management doesn't care about the tenants. I've made hundreds of complaints on my neighbors two floors above me. Nothing was done. 2 1/2 years later he is still up to the same tricks. He throws trash over the balcony, he steals from my balcony. I came home with my 8 year old & he is on MY porch smoking weed with his friend. He tore up the bushes. He throws rotten food off the balcony. He is in his twenties, at least & is living there with his crack ----- mother. When I first bought my car, he was out there with his buddies, sitting on it. Why' Because his scrub ass can't afford his own car. I have to clean up trash & broken glass all the time. My bath tub tiles keep falling off & the idiot maintenance just patches it up. The whole wall behind the tile is wet & deteriorating & needs to be replaced. Yet, maintenance is not capable of figuring that out. When they use the caulking on my shower, they got it all over the bathroom & on the carpet. When I complained, nothing was done. I had to take pictures & send it to the management company. I have documented complaints from the beginning. It always takes me contacting the management company to get anything taken care of. The problems with my neighbor has been going on since I moved here, yet he's still here, living with his crackhead mother. Every Sunday for over a year he would come home at 2:30 in the morning with his drunk friends. They would stay out on the stairs & patio partying, laughing, yelling, throwing beer bottles. I would call the cops, but they never did anything. It seems that a crime is commited at least once a month here. We're not far from Austin Highway, so the crack heads come this way to commit their crimes, because this is a fairly nice area. We've had problems before when my daughter cut her foot open IN the pool. There was broken glass on the steps & on the bottom of the pool. Paying rent is a challenge. If you don't get it to them when they are here, there is no where to leave the rent. Stupid criminals kept breaking into the night drop box, so management, being less than capable of finding a solution, decided that we need to drop our rent off during working hours. So not only do I have to pay my high rent for my low end living, I have to take time off work to do it. There are vehicles in the parking lot that have been broken down for over & year & still have not been moved or given a violation. This complex has potential if they could get a manager in here that actually works. Every time I call to speak to the manager, she's out of the office. Who is running this place' I would say, the criminals. Our mail boxes get broken into quite frequently. Our vehicles are vandalized & robbed. Our apartments are robbed. We are not safe on this property. When I moved in, I was told that there was on-site security. After I moved in, I found out that it wasn't true. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. the only reason I've stayed so long is because i don't want to have to move all of my belongings to another place that is probably just as bad because San Antonio has gone ghetto. Even the nicest sides of town, such as this one, the northeast, has gone downhill.

Amen, I was a recent resident and had pretty much the same problems, I moved my family here from Houston, for a job transfer. This complex has the potential but it seems that management doesn't seem to care about its residents, and also they keep raising the rent even though there hasn't been any improvements to the property. WTH.

OMG! evreything above and more is true about this complex. I actually got to this site because im trying to get in contact with the management company. i moved out 2 months ago and still no security deposit! the staff there actually make you feel like they dont care as your standing right in front of them. changes need to be made! stay away from this place unless you are a criminal yourself. OH! DID I MENTION YOUR LUCKY IF 3 OUTTA 12 WASHERS AND DRYERS IN THE "LAUNDRY ROOMS" ARE OPERATIONAL AT ANY GIVEN TIME.

To These Anonymous people everywhere you go there will be crime. It will not go away and the maintenance personal are good and very help full. And management want to help, but as well as for the tenants they also could give them ideas and look out for one another. I knew this girl that someone was braking into an apartment and she didn't even call the cops because she didn't want to get involved. So how the hell do you expect for management to do anything if even the tenant dont care. I lived there myself and I had no problems I had maintenance request and He would come at fix my problem. Things brake you cant expect for everything to be perfect, if you do you should move to a new property and you'll see the problems you will have there..
