Okay, I was going to write a nice review until we got our move out balance- YES- a balance! It seems that they charge for the things other apartments do for free upon move out. We were charged for them to clean the carpet and repaint the walls. It costed an arm and a leg! We put down a $250 deposit and still owed them 80 bucks! The apartment before us charged us for none of that...it was my understand that carpet cleaning and repainting the walls were necessary between tenants. I guess not. Anyway...it's really quiet and most of the people just stared at you instead of speaking. Point is- *you can do MUCH better*. Ventana gives great specials, downside- traffic is a ----- so you have to plan ahead, the staff is short right now so they are a little slow...but we live there now and it's $816 for a 2/2 sq ft 1200...so do the math...oakdell way was $850(with a USAA discount) for a 2/2 at a little over 900 sq ft. If its the garage, ours was broken several times and it would open by itself, plus it started to open our neighbors right before we left. Save yourself the trouble and get a special at a better place. There was an attempted abduction. NO LAUNDRY ROOM! Small one car garage, so if you have a big car, you have to fight for a spot. One more thing- they mow the lawn VERY EARLY in the morning...so if you take a day off, schedule around them.
