Great for the Money

Oakhampton Place is super convienient to 410 and the airport, which fit our needs perfectly. The apartments themselves are roomy (a lot of space for your dollar) and pretty well maintained, and the huge balconys are great! There are a few places where the carpet doesn't quite meet the wall, and you can tell the paint job was cheaply and quickly done, but no problems that are out of the ordinary for apartment living, especially considering the age of the complex. However, we have had some problems cooling our apartment in the summer, maintenance came and piddled around with our A/C and acknowledged that there was a problem, but not much has changed.
If you get home too late (after 7pm) you might have trouble finding parking, there are plenty of covered spaces that are hardly used but you have to pay extra for those. Same with the remote access pad for the gate - you have to pay extra for one but they'll give you a code to use if you don't buy one. I don't think the remote is worth it - the gate's broken a third of the time anyway.
Overall I would recommend Oakhampton Place - you get a large, nice apartment for much cheaper rent than the other complexes in the area, and you can't beat the location.
