Bad experiance from start to finish

From the time I first looked into these apartments until the time I moved out it was the worst apartment experiance I ever had.
Being in the military I move around quite a bit and rarely stay more than a year at any one post. So my main concern is just to find a place nearby my post.
When I first walked in the door the office staff had an attitude that they were 'just too busy' to spend the time to lease me an apartment. They just handed me a key and told me "Go around that way and you'll see the building." On my return I stood and waited for quite sometime until I was even acknowledged and then that was just a "Do you want the apartment'"
After move in I noticed many lease violations occuring with other residents from letting pets run loose without a leash to several vehicles never moving with flat tires and expired registration and inspection stickers. After mentioning as such to the office the response was usually "OK, we'll take care of that." and these same violations continued until the day I moved out.
My most 'memorable' experiance was when I was calling the leasing office and was getting the answering service which told me "they are out walking the property" so I walk to the office. I seen the office staff inside chatting and laughing so, while standing there I called again on my cell phone and got the service again. I walked into the office and stated "I don't know if you realize your phones are on the answering service." I was told they knew the phones were on service because they were just SO busy they didn't have time to answer the phones! Also if you have a package left in the office by the Postal Service, UPS or others and you inquire of the office staff to retrieve it they will just point to a big pile of boxes and deliverys and say something to the effect of "It should be in there somewhere." and you are expected to look for it yourself. And nobody checks to see if you might be walking off with other peoples stuff. I can't help to think this is where my missing packages disappeared to.
If courteous, friendly and attentive service after the sale is important to you, then not only do I NOT recommend this complex, consider this a warning.

So you're saying that they just gave you a key and let you look at an apartment all by yourself without a staff member accompanying you? That seems a bit strange.
And you are a Captain in the Army and write sentences like, "I seen the office staff inside..."?

Well I can definitely verify some of his statements. Like how I've tried calling 4 times in the past hour and a half and nobody has answered the phone in the office. I took the first thing I looked at, because I could move in the same day and they were close to post. That was my biggest mistake I made in Texas.
