I've lived at the Oaks of Marymont for quite some time and I've had LOTS of problems with maintenance. It started off bad. From the day we moved in we needed things fixed and it always took more than a week to get to it. There is trash all over the property. The management seems like they don't care and they leave trash piled up outside of dumpsters for days. They are ALWAYS cutting the water off and on a few occassions have had the nerve to do it without giving us notice. So, we may work out or something and then not be able to shower. Oh and the workout room is a big scam. The machines never work. Don't move here. They don't care anyway. They charge WAY TOO MUCH for what you get. It's really like living in public housing. Also, there were several robberies at gunpoint this year. My police officer friend looked up to see how many calls were made to them over the past year and he said that he printed out three pags front and back with about 18 calls on each side. It doesn't feel safe at all! I don't like to come home by myself after dark.
It's a shame, because they actually started out somewhat nice and the apartments are really big (really really big), so if they did fix them up and maintain them, they could make a killing.
