I have to ask that in this day, if people really think they are above others just because of their position'''' The people in the office at the Oaks of Marymont are the most unprofessional and snotty people I have ever encountered. I have lived here less than a year and every time I have to go in the office (which is not often) they act like they are doing me a favor by addressing my concern or answering my questions--do they not realize that I (and the other residents here) are the ones doing them a favor by living in this dump''' Its because we are here that they can even get a paycheck. I have to back up because I actually over-spoke: the one person in that office that is always pleasant is the black lady that works there. Although each time I've gone in to see a manager, they're ALL out to lunch and have left her there alone. I wish I knew her name so that I can write the management company directly to express that she is the only good employee in that office. If you go to the office, only talk to her if you expect good customer service ...or any service at all for that matter.

The biggest gripe I have is that a good friend of mine was forced to get rid of his companion (dog) supposedly because it was a pit bull or a pit-bull mix. Bull$%! because not long after that, THE MANAGER has gotten her children the exact same breed. She has tried to hide it and thinks no one knows but I have personally seen her child walking the dog on a leash (a gray pit bull puppy) more than a few times--and has even had the audacity to bring it into the office like no one would notice! What a f*&@#! hypocrite. She needs to go!! She is not above others and if the policy applies to us, then as a resident in the same complex she manages, she needs to also abide by the same policy. The ASPCA should be notified of this as well as the Apartment Association because this is not how you manage a property.

If I had not signed a lease already, I would be out of here so fast. Please if you are considering looking for an apartment, DO NOT...I repeat...save your money and DO NOT RENT HERE. Aside from everything above, the complex itself is a joke. If you do decide to check it out anyway, please ask to see inspections for mold and asbestos...that alone will make you run in the opposite direction. Happy apt hunting...

we used to live here also in 2008 and the ac never got fixed properly we were paying anywhere from 4 to 5 hundred dollars a month in electricity bills and we work 60 hours a week so we were never there, there was a leak in the wall that took the wall actually sagging and collapsing for them to come fix it and they still did a shity job fixing that, the black lady in the office is named dwana and i agree she is the only one that is ever there, and be aware the maintenance men go into apartments un announced or even asked to be there in the first place we were broke into x mas eve and the day before the maintence men showed up in the morning and my boyfriend went to work so the car was not in our spot so they thought no one was home but when they came in without knocking or annoncing that they were entering they were very suprised to find me home and had no reason to come up with about why they were in my home
