Worst complex I've lived in

First off, the exterior looks nice. Lots of trees, birds chirping, and its a small complex so theres little noise. Thats pleasant. The working staff is friendly and eager to please (most of the time anyways).

What isn't pleasant is the apartments themselves, not to mention the neighboring children and their lack of parental figures. I dont know whats worse, dodging the kids that are playing in the parking lot at 5pm when everyone is coming home or the lack of parental guidance that continues to not be found, even after numerous complaints about the problem were "answered" by the apartment manager.

Moving on to the apartments themselves, it would seem that these apartments took decades to build, as the stove appears to be from the year 1930, the refrigerator from the 1950's, and the microwave from the 1970's. As all the appliances are a stained greasy yellow, they all seem to fit the 1980's type of bathroom counters. I mean after all, you do pay $1000 a month to live in a 30 year old box that has both electrical problems and heat/ac problems as well.

With the AC going out on a monthly basis, electricity going on semi-monthly, loud obnoxious neighbors and the more annoying children, and the occasional moron with the loud bass system in his car, I might as well be paying $1000 a month to live in the hood.

Also, recently part of the complex suffered a loss when a fire burned down an entire section of the complex. From what I heard by current renters, the people who lived in these apartments were stuck living in a hotel until they could find another complex to move to. They lost all their belongings, and guess what' They had to pay for the hotel they stayed in on top of it.

In January, 1 month after the fire, there was a gas leak that occured by building 6. The fire department was called out. Nothing too dangerous but none the less annoying as some residents had to wait in the cold before they were allowed back indoors.

After months of problems I moved out. I can FIRMLY state that this was the worst apartment I ever lived in. Also, do NOT believe the hype that these "rave" reviews try to push on you. Its either a friend of the management, if not them themselves trying to look good.
