A SINGLE PARENT WITH TWO SMALL CHILDREN. HAVE BEEN LIVING THERE FOR 6 WEEKS NOW. ITS BEEN ONE BAD NIGHTMARE ONE THING AFTER THE NEXT. I HAVE NO HOT WATER, INFESTED WITH ROACHES, BAD MAINTENANCE, MY BEDROOM CARPET IS SOAKED WITH A LEAK FROM THE A/C, I HAD NON-STOP RUNNING WATER FOR 3 WEEKS THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR. I HAVE PLACED WORK ORDERS IN WRITING WITH NO SUCCESS. I HAVE A BIG HOLE BEHIND MY SHOWER WHERE MY KIDS CAN GET HURT. RISKING MY DAUGHTERS COULD OF GOTTEN SICK THIS WEEKEND DUE TO SHOWERING WITH COLD WATER. THE OFFICE STAFF AND MAINTENANCE SEEM LIKE THEY WANT TO HELP BUT THEY DONT. I JUST WANT TO LIVE OK WITH MY CHILDREN. I AM NOT ASKING FOR EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT I JUST WANT TO LIVE IN A PROPER LIVING ENVOIRMENT FOR MY CHILDREN. CROSSING MY FINGERS EVERYTHING GET DONE AND I'LL CHANGE MY REVIEW BUT FOR RIGHT NOW THIS IS MY FUSTRATION AND THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. WELL NOTHING NEVER GOT DONE. PLENTY OF ISSUES GOING ON AT THIS COMPLEX. THEN MY AC BROKE HAD WATER IN THE ENTRANCE OF THE BEDROOM AND LIVING ROOM. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE HOT WATER SINCE THERE ARE ONLY TWO BOILERS FOR THE WHOLE COMPLEX WITH ABOUT 10 PEOPLE LIVING IN A ONE BEDROOM. YOU CAN TRY TO CONTACT COCOMPLIANCE AND THEY ARE IN ON THE SITUATION. THEY COME TO INSPECT MON-FRI 8-5 WHEN THOSE THAT WORK OR GO TO SCHOOL ARE NOT THERE AND THEN THE WATER WARMS UP AND THEY SAY WELL THERE IS HOT WATER NOW BUT GUESS WHAT NOT WHEN YOU GET HOME AFTER 5PM.

I WAS ABLE TO TERMINATED MY LEASE HERE BY:
***MAKE SURE TO KEEP COPIES/RECORD INCIDENTS***
1. SEND CERTIFIED LETTERS FOR REPAIRS
A. LIST WHAT YOU WANT FIXED
B. GIVE A REASONABLE TIME FRAME FOR REPAIRS ON LIST TO BE COMPLETED
C. LET COMPLEX KNOW, WHAT YOUR PLANS ARE IF THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REPAIRS
EXAMPLE: TERMINATE THE LEASE (FAILURE TO REPAIR), DEDUCT FROM RENT, FILE A
LAWSUIT.
2. TAKE PICTURES
3. POLICE REPORTS
4. CALL CO-COMPLIANCE MAKE REPORTS (EVEN THOUGH THEY REALLY DONT HELP KEEP R ECORD THAT IT WAS REPORTED)
5. RESEARCH LAWS GOOD RESOURCE "TENANT HANDBOOK OF RIGHTS" THEY HAVE A WEBSITE

Yeah, management will probably not do anything about it. Maybe if you stop by everyday and remind them. MAYBE, but I doubt it. I recently moved out in May, so I understand very well what you're going through. I wrote the review called "moving out in April" so you can read my story there. Are you in Housing/Section 8? If you are, I moved into some apartments called Broadway Place which are ALOT better than Park on Bandera. You feel like you're living in luxury after living in a place like Bandera. It's a little far, right behind the airport. But it's close to Loop 410 which makes it easy getting to anywhere. If you move out soon, you should look into them. Hope this helps :]
