I was told by the manager before move in that the carpet would be replaced. When it came time to move in she said that she didn't have enough time now. They don't let you see your apartment until you move in. The carpet is filthy. It is frayed and torn where it meets the kitchen and the bathroom. It is pulled away from the wall approximately 1 inch in the living room. It has dirty pathways all over and is so old that it's fibers have that cottony look. It also smells so much like dog urine that the movers even commented about it. The walls were not painted. There were nails left in them from the previous tenants and a hole fom a wall anchor. When I try to talk to the manager she either isn't in or she is in a meeting. I was even told by another employee that she would be too buisy today to talk to me. I have also reported that my shower is not working right. When taking a shower most of the water comes out of the tub faucet instead of the shower head. The front gate has never worked, so don't think you'll have security parking. I have lived there one month and still have no garage door opener, so I have to do the "push the button and run out maneuver"(with my children). They say that they " have to order more openers". If you choose to rent here don't accept that it is "company policy" that they don't show you your apartment until you are handed the keys to move in. There is a reason that they don't let you see it in advance. Get eveything in writing especially from the manager.

When I moved here in December, the staff told me that the gates would be fixed in two weeks....it's June, and they're still not fixed. The swimming pools are so disgusting, you can't even see the bottom. I have requested for my garbage disposal to be fixed since December and they have not came by to fix it. Maintenance is horrible....don't move here!!!

Just some food for thought... You are allowed to look at your apt. BEFORE you sign your lease. You are just not allowed to go in to see an unfinished apt. If the apt was as bad as you say it was then you should have asked to see the apt. on your schd. move in day. Then you would have been able to go back and tell them you are not signing unless your demands were met and the apt was made up to your standards.
