Our group rented over 60 units for a year in this complex. The apartments are nice and so is the maintanence staff. The office staff is fairly good, but deal with the men only. The automatic gate up front did not work for over 75% of our one year experience. That helped to the 13 vehilce break ins our group experience. Thousand of dollars of damage to our cars and trucks. Two stolen vehicles and one attempted break in of an apartment. Out on the main road, Perrin Bitel, there are numerous Strip clubs and Pawn Shops. One bar about two blocks away, was robbed at gun point twice with the customers in the bar during our year (May 2003 to May 2004). Another bar about four blocks away had a drive by shooting. All of us, were military transfers and some had their families with them. I would not recommend it to another servicemember.
