Since we moved in in Oct. 2004, this place has been nothing but trouble. Miguel lost our rent check and proceeded to blame it on us, asking us to simply write another, repeatedly telling us "People make mistakes," and refusing to apologize. After discovering that they had credited another tenant's account with our money, they admitted their mistake, but only grudgingly. The other girls who work their are completely ditzy. Our apartment was flooded in February, resulting in the loss of furniture, photographs, art, etc. They moved us to a model apartment 7 hours after the flooding became unlivable. It took that long because it happened after office hours and the "courtesy officer" did not respond to our emergency calls. We lived in a model apartment for 3 nights, at which point we were moved to a different apartment, after sufficient hassle, (and being mistakenly assigned a wheelchair-accessible apartment) and were charged rent for the three nights in the model apartment, and received no compensation for our losses, even though the damage was wholly the fault of Paseo Pointe. After all that, they STILL do not know our names, or what apartment we live in. There is very little parking available, and the close spots are all covered, reserved spots. The lights in the outdoor hallways are frequently dim or burnt out, causing unsafe conditions. I would not recommend this community to anyone.
