Your Car Gets Towed Here!

I had the misfortune of renting here thinking (not thinking) that this would be a peaceful place for my son and I, WRONG WRONG WRONG. Two weeks before Christmas my car got towed by the third party company the apartment employes because I was a "litte bit" over the while line of the other parking''' This happened on a Sunday afternoon as I was getting ready to take my son whom is a child with special needs to BAMC because he was not feeling well. I get knock on the door and my upstairs neighbor told me "your car is being towed." The towing company when I finally found out that is what them that took my car, does not accept cash or checks only credit cards, which I had gotten rid off to reduce debts. I had to "borrow" someone's else because the longer my car stayed there the more I would have to pay. My car was there less than an hour yet I was charged #181.00 dollars, I got "lucky" they did not have to call me or let the police know because that is usually another $60.00
To shorten this story I had to fight with management, Michelle, whom I agree with previous comments, is not professional, or nice, until I had them return the money to the borrowed credit card.
When I first moved here not even a month after I had complaints from my downstairs neighbor about my 3 year old, I had told the leasing lady that I preferred downstairs to avoid this problem and she said that their apartments are better built and therefore noise is usually not an issuee, yeah right.
This man was nutcase that took the liberty on knocking on my door and scare the living hell out my daughter who was babysitting my son and not happy with that he confronted as I was coming home from work. Management agreed with this method of correct problems among neighbors as they encourage keeping at a minimum level, excuse me' I don't want any irrate person at my door knocking like a lunatic with reason or not. Michelle was intensed in defending this individual and they are both of Mexican descent and I am from another latin country, and he has been living here longer than me. I told her that I felt threathen by this man and she "assured" me he was a "bear" and he would not do anything to me or my family, how could she be so sure. All this changed when I pointed out that my son is allowed to play during the daytime and it was not my fault this man worked at night and slept during the day, we all have learn apartment living and sometimes there is price to pay. That was first taste of this aparmtment and the constant calling to my work about my son playing at home at 2:00 p.m. and then the whole towing nightmare, not being able to take a hot bath longer than 3 minutes because you get no more hot water. Calling "security" for two days when my car got towed and not being able to get and answer, and finding just last Sunday a pick-up truck taking four parkings (I took pictures) and yet my car gets towed.
Please do yourself a favor look somewhere, the thing about the pool is true!! lots of drinking and smoking and kids cannot play because adults are exhibiting loud and unsafe behavior for children to be around.
If you are single and have money to burn maybe, but you if want value and respect of your personal property do not move here. And yes you will find stains coming in your carpet as they go by after you move-in.

I agree, if you have rug rats (kids or dogs), live on the bottom floor or better yet... some place else! The rest of the world has no desire to sacrafice their peace of mind becaue you got knocked up. And who cares so little about the door dings and their neighbors that they feel its ok to park over the white lines... you and homer simpson?? doh! When you drive thru the parking lot, notice that 98 percent of the vehicles are 2005 and newer. I have a brand new expensive car and every time i get a deep door ding, it lowers the value about... oh, the cost of a frigging tow truck!!! SERVES YOU RIGHT, BIOTCH! |
