I have been a resident for Plaza De Ville for 3yrs now. I have seen the property go from a decent place to live to Southside (Little Mexico)apartment within my 3yrs I have lived here. The management staff,leasing staff and maintenance staff are excellent. I often wonder why they work here. Because there skills and professionalism is exceptional. The only problem I have with the property is the residents have changed. They don't seem to care about the property. There seems to be alot of low-life people moving in. And it makes me uncomfortable. Yes, the property should redo the parking lots and possibly do a rehab on the older apartments on the property. Instead of building 3bed room apts which can not be leased. I don't like to see the dog cramp all over the property. I never thought I would be writing this about Plaza. I have decided to move to a nicer apartment complex in Helotes. I wish I could bring the managment staff with me.

If you ask me 3yrs ago I would recommend this place highly. But now I would say No. Plus there were 2 different people who drowned in the pools. Seems to have gang related activity or the property, there was a crazy lady trying to burn down her apartment. There are old ladies shopping out of the garbage dumpsters. I have never seen people jump into a dumpsters and cart garbage, like this place, there is a pervert man, who likes to flash you and so many stray cats you could start a pet store.

The complex has deteriorated BECAUSE of the staff. Maintenance people are nice but the rest of them just don't care. Too afraid to confront the residents who are dragging all of us down. You get a shoulder shrug if you complain. Dog crap a big problem - office told, just shrug. No one is held accountable anymore. Disrepectful residents run free while the office just locks the door at 5:30 and goes home. Pool drownings not the responsibility of the complex. however. If the city has no lifeguard laws then use as own risk. Takes months for anything to be repaired. Work order mysteriously disappear if you complain about anything. Rent to "ghost" applicants and then 20 ghetto people move into one apartment. No follow-up by staff. Original manager was a peach - constantly went around making sure things were cool - this staff never, ever gets off its lazy butt to check on anything.

I completely agree with ghettoisus. The office staff is very rude. I went in to the office to place a work order and the only available person was "busy" doing her makeup and hair. While I was standing in front of her desk she continued to fix her self up and then proceeded to put hair spray all over her hair for about 2 minutes. I had to leave cause I couldn't breathe!! Very unprofessional if you ask me.

The parking lots are going to be redone very soon and the fitness center is being remodeled right now. Actually, there was only one drowning in the pool but everything else I do agree with. It has changed a lot in the year I have been here. It is not the fault of the staff that people apply and get approved because of Fair Housing Laws and then turn out to be complete jerks.

Everything is true, but why compare to "Little MExico" its more like Poeple in general that dont care. I go to complain about the courts and they say they cant pass out a paper, but you can do it for annoying other things that we dont care about!
