I lived here for 1 year. One of the people that lived in my building was an old woman in a wheel chair. She would spend all day outside planting flowers, and watering the lawn (things that the apartment complex should have been doing). She lived there for about 6 years. She told me that when she moved in she found a beat up little puppy outside. She took it to the vet and got him all cleaned up. She lived all alone, so this dog was her only family (that I ever saw). She would take care of this dog like it was her child. One day I notied the dog wasnt with her. I asked her where she was and she told me that the office told her that they are no longer allowing big dogs to live in the apartments. But because she had the dog before the policy came into effect thay were willing to let her keep the dog, but she will have to pay an extra $300.00 EVERY MONTH! THEY WERE GOING TO RAISE HER MONTHY RENT $300.00 A MONTH! Ofcourse she had to give her companion up. How heartless can you be' I moved out because my hot water was being shut off every week, roaches, water damage, poor maintenence... should I go on' Everything I have to say, has already been said on here. I am warning you. The staff is heartless, and this is not a place to live.

LOL -- I know who that lady is! Does her son Curtis not live with her anymore? I forgot her name, but she loves to lie. Seriously... She would fib the truth about EVERYTHING or just outright lie, it was amazing. Her dog's name was Rachel, right? I was there when she found that puppy! The heartless staff that you speak of took care of the puppy before she got her. Based on what I know about her, my guess is that it wasn't $300 a month, it was $300 pet deposit, since that's what the pet deposit is. Don't take some angry resident's word for it, go ask for yourself and find out the truth.

Wow, I actually know who you are talking about. She lives in the building across from me. Her name is Shirly. Listen to the first response. That woman is a liar. She told me a different story. She told me that her son got mad at her, and stole her dog from her. She said she has a lawyer who is trying to get custody for her. She also told my Mother that she is an expert in shop lifting. Everyday she rides her chair from store to store stealing whatever she can fit in her bags that hang on her chair. I can??????t believe she hasn??????t been arrested yet. She tells everyone that she just "finds" stuff outside LOL. We still live here, and yes, I have my own problems with this place but $300.00 a month sounds so unbelievable, that I cant believe you would even write that on here without checking with the office to see if that??????s true.

Is this the lady that lives up front? I have talked to her a few times. She does seem very bitter. I actually know someone that lives in her building. He told me that the day he moved in he was parked in her parking spot for 5 minutes so he could move his sofa in, and she came out of her apartment screaming racial slurs at him. I have spoken to her a hand full of times. Strangely enough our conversations did have something to do with all the cartons of cigaretts and food she ((finds)) outside, and how the office made her get rid of her dog because he was too big. I have a pet in my apartment, and I paid the $300.00 pet deposit. At no time was I ever asked to pay a monthly fee to keep my pet. I can also say that I have gone to the office for different problems I have had, and I have always been treated with respect.

This woman lives in my building and she also told me that she had to get rid of her dog because the office put a note on her door reading that her rent was going up $300 a month for having a large dog. Well, she actually said that her rent would only go up $200 a month because the assistant manager offered to give her $100.00 off every month for taking such good care of the yard. Reading what I have already read about her I wouldnt be surprised if that was a lie too. Unfortunately I have not been happy with the staff, but Belinda has always been nice, and honest. My suggestion is that if you are thinking about renting here, please ask to speak with Belinda (only). She will let you know what fees are what. You cant always believe what you hear. Some renters may just be complaining because they are unhappy all around. I think thats the problem in this case.
