Section 8 preferred over Market Rate Renters

Primrose at Monticello is a nice apartment complex.....however, management prefers Section 8 renters over potential market rate renters....since it is a Section 8 (federally subsidized apartment complex) there are "surprise" inspections of all apartments.....since the government wants seniors in the complex, there is a waiting list of 1 bedroom apartments of over TWO years!....management prefers Section 8 tenants because management gets an automatic subsidy check from the government over having to deal with monthly market rate renters.....so beware!....Finally, the new "rapid bus corridor" construction begins in January 2010 on Fredericksburg Road and the road will be torn up and partially closed for over 18 months!!!!
