I am currently fighting unjustified charges that the apt. is trying to charge me. I kept the apt. very clean, even going as far as taking my shoes off at the door everyday. Now not only is my deposit being taken, they are charging me extra for insane charges that they do not want to prove. The bill has already been sent to a collection agency, so anything would help.

Also for prospective renters, dont do it. Parking is HORRIBLE, unless you live alone and never have guests over. Also, the garbage men and the leaf blowers come very early in the morning.

I am having this same problem...Please help me figure out what I should do. I kept the aparment VERY clean and they kept my security deposit, then charged me for ridiculous things (a remote I never received, power washing the concrete). They have also sent the charges to a collection agency.

Fight it until you cant fight it anymore. It took me over a month to get my history cleared and who knows if that stuff keeps a trail? Whatever you do, don't deal with the ppl at the front desk. they cant (wont) help at all. Go above them. Call the ppl that own the complex.
